Cross Oxygen Therapy
Cross Oxygen Training is a combination of using our EWOT (Exercise With Oxygen Therapy) system along with High Altitude training. During Cross Oxygen Training, we lower the oxygen levels in your bloodstream through a brief training session in our High Altitude room and then go straight into training with an oxygen mask and breathing in 97% pure oxygen. This then saturates your bloodstream, driving oxygen to your cells. All you need for an effective Cross Oxygen Training session is 15 – 20 minutes (or even less)!
We have experienced enormous benefits from Cross Oxygen training in both ourselves and many of our clients. Some of these benefits include:
-
Anti-ageing: As we age, our capacity to utilize oxygen decreases by 1% per year after the age of around 25. Cross Oxygen Training can restore the proper functioning of the oxygen transfer mechanism that becomes damaged with age.
-
Oxygen provides 90% of your body’s energy: Cross Oxygen training boosts your body’s energy levels, provides optimum health and relieves stress.
-
Regardless of current illness or injury, Cross Oxygen Training speeds up recovery and strengthens the immune system. Cross Oxygen training is also used for disease prevention.
-
15 minutes of Cross Oxygen Training = 1 hour of intense training! Train less for better results - at any level of fitness.
-
Benefits for athletes include: Faster recovery, higher workload tolerance, improved oxygen uptake, and improved mental acuity.
-
Exercise, even very mildly, allows more blood to access your muscles, skin, organs and brain, which are usually dormant nooks and crannies. More blood = more oxygen getting to cells that may not be receiving much.
Without oxygen our cells die, become disabled, or mutate. More blood also allows waste products and toxins to be removed from cells and transported to the liver and kidneys for elimination. Cross Oxygen Training sends oxygen enriched blood to those nooks and crannies. Because the blood is oxygen enriched and we are exercising with an elevated heart rate, we actually pressurize the system to literally force more oxygen into our cells. Flooding all those sleepy cells in our body with oxygen has amazing benefits across a wide range of applications in everyday people’s lives!
Immediate benefits include decreased fatigue, mental clarity, and high energy levels.
